Privacy Policy
HopeTech (“HopeTech”, “we”, “us”) builds and publishes mobile applications and operates the website at hopetech.space. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to every app we publish unless an app ships with its own, more specific policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you contact us by email, we keep your message and address so we can reply. Some apps let you enter content such as text, photos or voice recordings in order to use a feature. That content is processed to provide the feature and is not used for anything else.
Information collected automatically. Our apps may collect limited technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, country, crash reports and anonymised usage events. This helps us fix bugs and understand which features are used.
Purchases. In‑app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google. We receive a transaction record and entitlement status, never your payment details.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve our apps and website.
- To respond to support requests.
- To diagnose crashes and performance problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal data.
3. Third‑party services
Our apps may rely on third‑party providers for analytics, crash reporting, cloud infrastructure, advertising and AI features. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. Depending on the app, this may include Apple, Google (including Firebase), and AI model providers used to generate in‑app content. Where an app shows ads, the ad network may use a device advertising identifier subject to your device’s tracking settings.
4. AI features
Some apps send the text, images or audio you provide to an AI service in order to generate a response. We send only what is needed for the feature to work, and we do not use your inputs to train our own models.
5. Data retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Content stored on your device stays under your control and is removed when you delete the app. Support emails are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of our apps or website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
