These terms govern your use of the website at hopetech.space and the mobile applications published by HopeTech (“HopeTech”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or installing one of our apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded them from. All rights not expressly granted remain with HopeTech.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, resell or redistribute our apps; to circumvent any security or licensing measure; to use our apps for anything unlawful; or to upload content you do not have the right to use. Some apps are rated for adults only and must not be used by anyone under the applicable age.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of any photos, text, audio or other content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the feature you requested. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

4. Emulation and third‑party content

Apps that emulate hardware do not include copyrighted games or firmware. You are responsible for ensuring that any files you load are ones you are legally entitled to use. Trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Paid features are sold through Apple’s App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by the store in line with its policies.

6. AI‑generated content

Some apps generate text, images or speech using AI. This output may be inaccurate or inappropriate and is provided for entertainment or informational purposes only. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue any app or feature at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that our apps will always be available, uninterrupted or error‑free.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Our website and apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HopeTech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of our website or apps. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using our apps at any time by deleting them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HopeTech is established, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
